Quality Control Employee – New Warehouse in Lelystad

Job Description
As a Quality Control Employee, you are responsible for monitoring and ensuring quality within the warehouse and logistics processes. You check whether products, shipments and processes meet the quality requirements of both the company and its customers.
You will be working in a new warehouse in Lelystad. This means that you will be part of a new team from the start and play an important role in setting up and successfully launching the new location. Together with your colleagues, you will help establish efficient work processes and create a professional and high-quality working environment.
You will carry out quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods and inspect products for damage, correct labelling, packaging and quantities. When you identify deviations or quality issues, you will register and report them and contribute ideas for possible solutions and improvements.
You will also work with warehouse management systems and scanners and ensure that all applicable safety and quality procedures are followed. You will work closely with warehouse employees and supervisors and contribute to a safe, efficient and high-quality working environment.

Main Responsibilities

Carrying out quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods.
Checking products for damage, labelling, packaging, quantities and accuracy.
Identifying, registering and reporting quality issues and deviations.
Contributing ideas for process improvements and corrective actions.
Working with warehouse management systems and scanners.
Monitoring compliance with safety and quality procedures.
Maintaining accurate quality records and documentation.
Working closely with warehouse teams and supervisors.
Supporting inventory and stock management when required.
Helping to establish and improve processes at the new location.

A completely new warehouse facility is being opened in Lelystad for a leading international customer. What do you bring?

MBO-level education or a comparable level of work and thinking.
Experience in logistics, warehouse operations or quality control is an advantage.
Good communication skills in English.
A strong eye for detail and an accurate way of working.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and willingness to work shifts when required.
Basic computer skills and the ability to work with scanners.
Ability to identify problems and contribute to finding solutions.
Enthusiasm for being involved from the start of a new warehouse location.
