The overall objective of this position will be to support various sourcing activities. In this role you will support the Strategic Sourcing Leader, the Strategic Purchasers as well as the team in our facility in Akhisar, Turkey.
Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
Check, document and process data in the ERP system (Oracle)
Prepare and process various purchase data reports to support the Strategic Purchasing team
Support and improve the sourcing process of direct and indirect materials and services
Identify, verify and initiate cost saving ideas
Track and maintain progress of achieved cost savings against target, and report deviations
Coordinate and manage changes in the supply chain (Change Management) for existing products
Communicate with foreign locations of Power-Packer with regards to contractual and purchase order related topics
Carry out secretarial activities as letters, reports, RFQ’s, quotations, presentations and incoming telephone calls

BSc education level with a business and/or administration background or equal.
Excellent communication skills; fluency in written and spoken English and Dutch are a must, additional language skills, esp. German, are an advantage
System savvy, works accurate/precise and is able to set and manage own priorities
Result driven mind-set, and the ability to quickly make things clear and easily understandable.
Organized, pragmatic and in possession of multi-tasking skills
